Our main course menu is divided in three sections:
North India, South India and Tandoor.

North India

You will find lots of breads and curries in the North. The dishes are prepared with creamy sauces and a variety of meat is used. Spices like garam masala are predominant, but not as spicy as the ones in the South.

Butter Chicken - €19

Boneless tandoor chicken curry prepared in a mild creamy sauce of tomatoes, butter and herbs. The vegetarian option is called Paneer Makhani

Chicken Curry - €18

Whole spice Indian curry with onions, tomatoes in a spiced gravy. Includes yoghurt.

Tikka Masala Chicken/Lamb - €19

Boneless chicken or lamb grilled in the tandoor prepared with paprika and red pepper

Paneer Makhani (V) - €19

Homemade Indian cheese prepared in a mild creamy sauce of tomatoes, butter and herbs. The non-vegetarian option is called Butter Chicken

Rajma Masala (V) - €18

Slightly spiced, creamy curry made with kidney beans and an onion- tomato masala

Aloo Baingan (V) - €18

Eggplant and potato curry, seasoned with Indian spices like garam masala, turmeric and chili powder

Lamb Rogan Josh - €19

Curry of lamb cooked in tomatoes, yoghurt and a unique blend of spices

Biryani Chicken/Lamb/King Prawn - €19

Seasoned basmati rice with nuts and spices, served with chicken, lamb or king prawns. Also served with alu mutter

Kashmiri Dum Aloo (V) - €18

Baby potatoes in a spiced tomato curry with Kashmiri red chili powder, ginger powder and fennel powder

Paneer Kofta (V) - €18

Fried Indian cheese dumplings served in a curry with tomatoes, onions and cashew nuts

Korma (V) / Chicken Korma - €17

Mixed vegetables or chicken, cooked in mild herbs, coconut cream, nuts and raisins

Yogi Salad (V) - €16

Salad with potatoes, chickpeas, green peas and pineapple served with a vinegar dressing

South India

South Indian cooking is based on rice, lentils, and seafood. A lot of the dishes are prepared with coconut milk or oils for the rice to soak up. In general, the dishes are spicier than the North.

Vindaloo Chicken/King Prawn - €19

Very spicy curry served with chicken or king prawns and with paprika, potatoes, red chili and Indian spices

Kerala Prawns - €19

Slightly spicy prawn curry prepared with coconut milk, tomatoes and red chili

Coconut Fish Curry - €19

White fish filet with a tomato, onion and coconut curry

Kathrika Koottan (V) - €18

Eggplant stuffed with Indian spices, cooked in an onion tomato masala gravy

Lasooni Methi Paneer (V) - €18

Indian garlic and coconut milk curry with homemade Indian cheese


Tandoori is a method of cooking. The tandoor (an original clay oven) is used for making our breads, but is also used for preparing dishes over an intense charcoal fire. Marinated meats, seafood and vegetables are lowered into the oven on long metal skewers and cooked in this smoky and extremely hot ‘pit’ until they are grilled to perfection. The tandoori dishes are served with basmati rice and aloo mutter.

You can park your car at Parking Markthal or Parking Oude Haven. From both garages it's only a 150m walk to the Gelderseplein! If you arrive with public transport you can stop at Station Blaak. You will need to cross the street and walk for 100m.
